Grenoble (and suburbs) is 300 000 people / aera of 90 km², 210 metres above sea level. The 3 great mountains around Grenoble are : "Le Vercors" in the south west with 1901 metres, the summit is le Moucherotte. " La Chartreuse" in the north with 1359 metres, the summit is le Saint-Eynard. "Belledonne" in the Est, with 1785 metres, the summit: Chamrousse.
